Set. 3, 1995 at Hillside Hospital, Beaver Dam. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Sept. 7, at 1 1 :30 a.m., at St. Jeromes Catholic Church, Columbus.

The Rev. Willjam Hower will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Lost Lake, Wis. Mrs.

Fritts was born March 19, 1916 in Lost Lake, Wis, daughter of Michael and Cecila (Polchinski) Watters. She married Carl Fritts on Sept. 4, 1934 at St. Mary's Church, Lost Lake, Wis. She was a 1934 graduate of Randolph High School and lived in Columbus for many years.

She worked at Jack Winters Sportswear Factory for 20 years, and retired from Alfred WAUPUN Alfred Olsen, 62, of 552 Bronson Waupun, died Monday, Sept. 4, 1995 at the Waupun Memorial Hospital. 23, 1927. He was born and raised in Portage, and attended schools there and at UW Madison. As a student he joined the Loftsgordon Bros. Lumber where he was affiliated for 33 years after which time he joined the Marling Lumber Co. of Madison, for a number of years until his retirement.

He served as trustee for St. Bernard's EarlM. COLUMBUS Earl M. Erkkila 52, of 414 W. Harrison Columbus, died Monday, Sept.

4, 1995 at Meriter Hospital, Madison, Wis. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Sept. 7, at 11 a.m. at the Jones-Jensen Funeral Home, Columbus. The Rev.

Robert V. Moberg will officiate. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Columbus. Mr. Erkkila was born May 25, 1943 in Detroit, son of Earl and Martha (Hyvonen) Erkkila.

He married Lois LeBoeuf on June 25, 1966 in Ishpeming, Mich. He served in the United States Army and was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Columbus. He married Alice Schueler on March 29, 1959 in Marquette, Wis. He was a graduate of Waupun High School and attended UW Oshkosh for one year. He was employed as a correctional officer by the Wis. Dept. of Corrections for 33 years, retiring in Harold E.

FOND DU LAC, Wis. Harold E. Marion, 84,160 E. McWilliams Fond du Lac, died Friday, Sept. 1 1995 at St.

Agnes Hospital, Fond du Lac, Wis. Funeral services were held Monday, Sept. 4, at 9 a.m., at the Zacherl Funeral Home, and 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, Fond du Lac, Wis.

The Rev. Peter Drenzek will officiate. Entombment will be in the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Cemetery. Mr. Marion was born Aug.

31, 1911 in the town of LeRoy, son of Matthew and Ottilia (Youngbeck) Marion. He married Marie A. Spannbauer on June 24, 1939 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Fond du Lac, Wis. He was a member of St.

Mary's Catholic Church, Fond du Lac, its Holy Name Society St. Joseph's Society and the Knights of Columbus Council 664. He farmed for 3 1 years and then was employed by the former Dorst Metal Craft, now Mayville Raymond COLUMBUS Raymond W. Wendt, 86, 516 Waterloo Columbus, died Saturday, Sept. 2, 1995 at his home.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 6, at 1 1 a.m., at the Zion Ev. Lutheran Church, Columbus. The Rev. G.

F. Cares will officiate. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Columbus. Mr. Wendt was born June 16, 1909 in the township of York, son of Henry and Lydia (Borchert) Wendt.

He married Janette Will on Nov. 4, 1937. He was a livelong resident of the Columbus area, a member of Zion Ev. Lutheran Church, Columbus where he was very active as an usher and bell ringer, was a longtime employee 6f Stokley Canning Company, Columbus, as a machinist for over 30 years. Gilbert H.

Gilbert H. Schweiger, 81, of 322 Rosendale. Beaver Dam, died Friday, Sept. 1, 1995 at Hillside Manor, Beaver Dam. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Sept.

6, 1995 with closing services at the Murray Community Funeral Home, Beaver Dam, at 10:30 a.m., to St. Peter Catholic Church, Beaver Dam, at 1 1 a.m. The Rev. John L. Simon and Rev.

Troy Schweiger will officiate. Burial ill be in St. Peter's Cemetery, Beaver Dam. Mr. Schweiger was born Nov.

24, 1913 in Beaver Dam, son of Arthur and Rose (Hagedorn) Schweiger. He married Clara M. Hankes on Sept. 12, 1936 in Beaver Dam. He was a lifelong resident of Beaver Dam, employed at Zweck-Wollenburg in Beaver Dam for 53 years, retiring in 1990.

He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, and the Third Order of St. Francis. Survivors include his wife. Clara Myrtle Myrtle Busse, of Randolph, died 1995 at Continental RANDOLPH 236 Grove St.

Tuesday. Sent. 5. Manor Nursing Center, Randolph. rfln Lovina Smerling 1994.

He was also a long time member of the Van Dyne Sportmen's Club. Survivors include his wife, Alice Smerling of Waupun; two sons, Kevin Smerling of Oshkosh, Krandell Smerling of Waupun; one daughter, Kristine (Jeff) Jillson of Beaver Dam; his mother, Ivah Smerling of Sebring, two grandchildren; one sister, Sharon Hodge of Waupun; one step-brother, Roger Smerling of Waupun; one step-sister, Roxanne (David) Biffert of Baraboo, Wis. He was preceded in death by his father, Chester, in 1987. Friends called on Monday, Sept. 4, from 5 to 8 p.m.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie, on June 15, 1995; two sisters, Blondina Burns and Frances Marian.
