QaariE 1 4M Diane M. Byrum PORTAGESAN DIEGO, Calif. Diane M. Byrum, age 59, of Killeen, Texas, died on Sunday, July 24, 2005, at the home of her daughter in San Diego, Calif. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., on Sunday, July 31, 2005, at St.

Mary Catholic Church in Brig- gsville, with Fr. Jim Murphy presiding. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery in the Township of Douglas. Friends may call on Saturday, July 30, 2005, from 5-8 p.m., at the Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Portage, where the rosary will be recited at 6 p.m.

She served in the United States Army for two years as a supply specialist in Germany. She retired Civil Service at Darnell Army Community Hospital as a medical supply technician.

She was active with the American Legion and breast cancer community activities. Her hobbies include getting together with friends to play pinochle and hitting the slots. Her passion was bingo and her grandchildren, especially her newest additions, the triplets who just turned one on her birthday what a gift! She is survived by her dear son, James Dreyer of San Francisco; two daughters, Deanna Kiriazes (Dreyer) of Colorado Springs, and Teresa Cici (Armando) Carrillo of San Diego, two brothers, Joseph (Patti) Schwochert of Baraboo and Bernard (Una) Schwochert of Endeavor; two sisters Sharon (Jerry) Thom of Kentucky and Kathleen (Thomas) Thompson of Montello; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She not only will be joining our Lord Jesus Christ, but her dear son, Robert Dreyer, brother, Jerome, sister, Shirley Willard, and especially her dear parents, Walter and Rosalie (Plant) Schwochert.
